Re-Imagine
The fifth edition of ENIFF invited filmmakers and audiences to re-imagine storytelling, heritage and creative possibility.
Alongside an international film programme, the edition expanded ENIFF's work across heritage, emerging filmmakers, European cultural collaboration and practical creative development.
Opening film
The Man Died
Inspired by Wole Soyinka's prison memoir, the film headlined the 2024 edition.

What happened that year
Re-Imagine Heritage: The Magic of the People
Young Nigerian filmmakers aged 21 to 35 created 10 to 25 minute smartphone documentaries exploring the power in their family heritage — with one-year mentorship from filmmaker Ike Nnaebue for five selected filmmakers.

ENIFF's collaboration with the European Union around short film and impact filmmaking.
