Every generation inherits stories. Some preserve what came before. Some challenge what we have accepted. Others help us imagine what does not yet exist.
Stories That Build Futures asks what happens when storytelling becomes more than reflection. What can cinema preserve? What can it question? What can it repair, reimagine or make possible?
For ENIFF 7, filmmakers, artists, audiences and creative voices come together in Enugu around stories that carry memory forward, engage the realities of the present and open new ways of seeing what comes next.
From culturally rooted narratives and social-impact cinema to emerging forms and new creative tools, ENIFF 2026 celebrates storytellers with a point of view and the courage to use it.
