ENFAI
ABOUT ENFAI
The Eastern Nigeria Film and Arts Initiative (ENFAI) stands at the forefront of empowering Nigerian youth, particularly in the Southeast region, by providing them with vital skills in film, media, and technology. As a pioneering leader, ENFAI not only educates but also acts as a catalyst for emerging talents within the film, digital and arts sectors, helping them to flourish in a competitive global market.
ENFAI is dedicated to democratizing filmmaking by making it widely accessible. Our innovative smartphone filmmaking workshop embodies this mission by enabling anyone with a smartphone to produce and share high-quality contents. This approach significantly lowers the barriers to entry for film production, empowering individuals from all walks of life to tell their stories and advocate for sustainability. Through this initiative, we enhance digital literacy, cultivate storytelling skills, and open new career paths in the creative sector.
Our holistic educational programs stimulate creativity, generate employment opportunities, and contribute to both economic and cultural growth, addressing critical issues such as poverty and insecurity. Since our inception, ENFAI has trained 5,250 individuals and facilitated the creation of 302 jobs, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to nurturing sustainable career development.
With our headquarters in Enugu and extending our reach across Nigeria, ENFAI is devoted to nurturing a dynamic and inclusive creative eco-system. We are committed to fostering regional and global sustainable development through the transformative power of the arts and media.
We envision a Nigeria where empowered youth, particularly in Southeast Nigeria, drive positive change, sustainable economic growth, and cultural development through the transformative power of film, media, tech, and creative arts.
To empower Nigerian youth through practical film/media education, vocational training, and digital skills, fostering creativity, creating income opportunities, and contributing to economic and cultural growth while addressing challenges related to poverty and insecurity.
To foster sustainable economic and cultural development in Southeast Nigeria by nurturing a skilled and empowered youth population, providing them with the tools to thrive in the creative sector, and offering opportunities for individuals to choose a better future.
