We are thrilled to announce the TreasureWells-ENIFF 2024 Documentary Competition, a unique opportunity to showcase your storytelling talents and celebrate your heritage. This year, as we celebrate the 5th edition of the Eastern Nigeria International Film Festival (ENIFF), our theme is "Re-Imagine"—inviting you to explore new horizons, redefine norms, and bring forth stories that offer fresh perspectives.

About the Competition:
The Magic of the People documentary competition is open to young filmmakers of Southeast Nigeria origin, aged 21-28. We challenge you to create a compelling 10-25 minute documentary using just your smartphone. Delve into your family history and heritage, 2nd to 4th generation and capture "The Power in Your Family Heritage."

Prizes:
First Prize: 500k Naira
Second Prize: 300k Naira
Third Prize: 200k Naira

This is your chance to showcase your creativity, storytelling skills, and unique perspective on what it means to "Re-Imagine" the world around you. Key Dates:

* Submissions Open: August 15, 2024
* Submission Deadline: October 1, 2024
* Finalists Announcement: October 26, 2024
* Screening Dates: November 19-22, 2024
* Award Ceremony: November 23, 2024

How to Enter:
1. Prepare Your Documentary: Create a 10-25 minute documentary using your smartphone that aligns with the theme "Re-Imagine Heritage: The Magic of the People."
2. Submit Your Entry: Visit our submission page to enter your documentary. Ensure all entries are submitted by October 1, 2024.
3. Review and Selection: Our panel of esteemed judges will review all submissions, and finalists will be announced on October 26, 2024.
